10 years of therapeutic services at Carmenta Life

What an incredible journey it has been for Carmenta Life from conception to a fully-grown, 10-year-old, vibrant and forward-thinking Medical and Wellbeing centre! Conveniently situated in the heart of Berkhamsted, in one of the most historic and tranquil areas of the town, Carmenta has made an impact and contributed to the health and wellbeing of many men, women and families in the area.

During this time, the experienced team of medical and wellbeing practitioners have been providing outstanding quality care and services in a comfortable and relaxing environment offering an extensive range of physical and mental health therapies for adults and children as well as a wide variety of fertility, pregnancy and baby services.

Since opening, its range of services has extended to meet the needs of the community. BodyRefine corrective and rehabilitation exercise, massage and personal training have been popular additions, plus the regular adult and baby Osteopathy, Acupuncture, Reflexology, Massage, Counselling, Coaching, Ultrasound Scanning, Medical Consultations and Private GP services. This year they also welcome experienced Five Elements Acupuncturist David Thorpe.

Over the years Carmenta have added specialist baby services, such as Tongue Tie assessments and division by Lactation Consultant, Julie Carden alongside regular free weekly Breastfeeding support and antenatal courses for the NCT, plus Hypnobirthing classes.

Adult Yoga and Tai Chi are now firm fixtures, along with Parent and Baby Music, Massage and Pre and Postnatal Yoga Classes.
