Rotary Young Photographer 2026

Interested in photography? Are you always looking for that perfect photo? Want to showcase your creative side?

The Rotary Young Photographer competition is for you. This event encourages young people aged up to 17 to develop and showcase their photography skills. This year Berkhamsted Rotary is looking for three photos on the subject of ‘Happiness in Nature’, which can be interpreted to include a wide range of different scenarios and situations in the natural world.

There will be a local round where the winners will receive cash prizes and the chance to compete at the District (Herts, Beds & Bucks) level and, if successful, a national competition. There may also be an opportunity to display the winning photos at a public exhibition in the local area.

No expensive camera is needed and many of winners in previous years have just used a mobile phone camera. Photos are uploaded online making it very straightforward to enter.
