A tale of extraordinary women in wartime is one of the Hertfordshire Libraries’ Centenary events taking place at Tring Library in March.

Louise Jordan as she uncovers the lives of inspiring secret agents of World War II. These extraordinary women showed courage, daring, ingenuity and sacrifice in a bid to defeat Nazi terror.

were they selected and trained to commit acts of sabotage, subversion and silent killing? Did they ultimately evade capture, torture and execution?

Behind Enemy Lines is a solo performance of live music, original songs, storytelling, soundscape, acting and choreography, honouring the inspirational lives of some of history’s lesser-known women.

Behind Enemy Lines takes place on 12 March from 11am-12.40pm.

The performance time includes a 20-minute interval, when refreshments will be served.
