Appeal following indecent exposure in Tring

Officers are appealing for witnesses and information to help trace a man following an indecent exposure incident in Tring.

On Saturday 12 September at around 8.20am, a woman was running alongside the Grand Union Canal, near to Little Tring Road, when a man approached her.

The suspect, who is described as white, was naked and only had a balaclava on and touched himself inappropriately.

PC Eva Traynor, who is investigating, said: ‘This incident was understandably distressing for the victim.

‘We would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time, or who may have witnessed what happened.

‘If you have any information, please get in touch.

‘We understand incidents of this nature can cause concern within the local community and officers will be carrying out additional patrols in the area to provide reassurance.’
