Gobstoppers turns 25

Living Magazines Gobstoppers Theatre Company

Happy birthday to the wonderful theatre and singing group, Gobstoppers, who turned 25 this year!

Gobstoppers was set up in 1994 by Chris and Victoria Williams. Today, it runs several courses each week, including children’s theatre groups and holiday clubs, it is a registered centre for LAMDA, GCSE and A Level Drama, plus it runs a Creative Curriculum for homeschooled children.

In November more than 150 local children will be putting on a production of The Wind In The Willows at the Centenary Theatre, while the adult group has recently completed a sold-out run of Spamalot.

Meanwhile, its sister group Glee Club has raised an astonishing £50,000 for local charities and is welcoming new members.
