Berkhamsted Music’s new season opens on 6 October with Raphael Wallfisch and John York’s celebration of 35 years of their collaboration. They will play some of their favourite sonatas by Schubert, Brahms and Franck. Raphael is one of the most celebrated cellists performing on the international stage. He was born in London into a family of distinguished musicians; his mother the cellist Anita Lasker-Wallfisch and his father the pianist Peter Wallfisch.
