All in a good cause

Peter Borg-Neal, CEO of Oakman Inns & Restaurants, was the lucky recipient of 3 huge bin-fulls of iced water at the Akeman in Tring last night, as part of his ALS ice bucket challenge.

Local businesses were offered the chance (via social media) of throwing iced water over Peter in a bid to raise additional money for charity.

Sandra Boothroyd-Todd, Living magazine’s Publisher jumped at the opportunity, along with Deric Newman from Tring Rugby Club and Meredith Hepner-Chapman from Brilliant Birds.
Peter emerged (to gasps and giggles), wearing a black mankini ready to take on the challenge.

Each business donated an amount for charity, which Peter matched £1 for £1.
