Alternative Mix 96 Tour de Vale

Take part in the Alternative Mix 96 Tour de Vale 2020 this September and raise vital funds for Buckinghamshire based charity WheelPower. By providing opportunities for disabled children and adults to engage in physical activity, WheelPower transforms lives through sport and by taking on this challenge, so can you!

Unfortunately organisers were unable to hold the Mix 96 Tour de Vale Bike Ride this year because of the Covid-19 Pandemic. They were really disappointed that they couldn’t deliver the ride you are familiar with but hope that isn’t going to stop you taking part in an ‘Alternative Mix 96 Tour de Vale’. Entry is Free, but you can help keep disabled people active by making a donation or asking your friends and family to sponsor you to complete your cycling challenge this September.

If you live in Aylesbury Vale, choose your route, decide when you want to do it, and where you want to start – you can join the route at the nearest point to you and take in all that the Aylesbury Vale and surrounding counties have to offer. You can even choose a day in September when the weather is just perfect for cycling!

Tour de Vale Routes

  • 110k – Advanced Ride for experienced cyclists.
  • 65k – Challenge Ride with a few steep hills.
  • 25k – Fun Ride for all the family.

And if you live further afield, why not challenge yourself to complete an ‘Alternative Mix 96 Tour de Vale’ and set a distance and a route that suits you. Beat your PB, ride with your family and friends (social distancing of course) or pedal from the comfort of your home. It’s entirely up to you!

Choose your own route, set a challenging distance target, and set off wherever you want and whenever you want. You’ll have the entire month of September to cover your chosen distance and you can do so in however many rides you like, it’s ‘Your Tour!’
