Appeal for Information Following Theft of Cars in Berkhamsted
Police are appealing for information and witnesses after two cars were stolen during a burglary in Berkhamsted.
Offenders gained access to a home in Tresco Road at around 2.30am on Monday 23 December and took two sets of car keys, using them to steal two vehicles from outside the property. They were a blue Seat Leon and a silver Skoda Rapid.
The Skoda Rapid has since been recovered but detectives believe that the Seat Leon was driven to the Hemel Hempstead area.
Detective Constable James MacPherson said: ‘If you live in the street and have not already spoken to officers as part of our enquiries, please consider whether you noticed anything suspicious in the area around the time of the offence.
‘If you have a doorbell camera or other CCTV, please check your footage to see if you have captured anything that could assist the investigation.
‘We believe the silver Seat Leon may be in the Hemel Hempstead area so if you believe you have seen it, please get in touch.’
