Aylesbury’s panto prince revealed

Aylesbury Waterside Theatre and UK Productions have announced that Milkshake! favourite David Ribi will star as the dashing Prince Vincent in this year’s magical family pantomime Sleeping Beauty, running from Fri 4 Dec 2026-Sun 3 Jan 2027.

Best known for presenting Channel 5’s hugely popular children’s show Milkshake!, David Ribi has been waking up the nation’s children every morning for the past nine years. Audiences can look forward to his infectious energy and stage presence, with theatre credits including Milkshake Live! (national tour), Mamma Mia! (UK tour), The Rocky Horror Show (European tour), Hairspray (UK tour) and Dreamboats and Petticoats (West End and tours).

A seasoned panto performer, David has played roles including Jack, Peter Pan, Dick Whittington and Prince Charming across the UK, earning nominations for Best Principal at the UK Pantomime Awards in both 2019 and 2023.

David Ribi said: ‘I am so excited to be riding my Princely Pony to Aylesbury this Christmas to meet all of you adventure-seeking Milkshakers! I’m going to need your help to rescue Princess Rose, so get ready to cheer me on! See you there!’

David joins previously announced cast members Laura Main (Call the Midwife), Andy Collins (BBC 3 Counties Breakfast Show) and Leon Craig (West End star) in what promises to be a spectacular festive production, packed with dazzling sets, stunning costumes, chart-topping songs and plenty of laugh-out-loud comedy for audiences of all ages.
