Beauty In More Ways Than One

Two local businesses are feeling the love this Valentine’s Day as they come together in a blossoming collaboration.

Suzanne Newman, owner of Tring Beauty Box in Dolphin Square, Tring, has invited floral designer, Kate Parrott of Polly and Petal to add a touch of luxury and bloom to the Tring Beauty Box shop front with a statement floral installation. Inspired by the passion both Suzanne and Kate have for supporting local businesses, they wanted to foster a positive collaboration and bring contemporary ideas to the local community.

Kate, a wedding photographer and floral designer, works independently without a shop front, whilst Suzanne, a makeup and beauty specialist is based in the centre of the community and boasts a beautiful double-fronted Art Deco style shop front. ‘It was time to make a statement,’ says Kate. ‘Our disciplines are not that dissimilar, we both want to create special beautiful moments for our clients. Our products have a lot in common: irresistible fragrance, eye-catching colour, and soft delicate textures. Using flowers to create seasonal displays creates the ultimate special moment for us both; a wow factor that can turn heads.

A large ombré floral installation of roses will adorn the front aspect of the shop, growing from the ground, wrapping around the window frame and exploding through the glass, to flow inside to the shop’s window display. Valentine’s celebrations will be embraced by both business women with specialised gifts and floral arrangements.
