Berkhamsted Charity Fundraiser

Quanta Consultancy recently held a fundraiser at their offices in Rectory Lane, Berkhamsted.

Fundraising for local charities such as DENS, Swan Youth, Pepper Foundation and Thomley is something Quanta focus on in their day-to-day running. In 2018 the company donated a total of £25,000 to these four charities from money they had raised by doing their daily jobs. You can read more about their charitable activities here.

In aid of Breast Cancer Awareness month they decided to host an Oktoberfest-themed fundraising day at their offices in Berkhamsted and named it Quantoberfest. The day consisted of Oktoberfest-themed fancy dress, pretzel making competition (and selling), barrel and stein race and a guess the baby quiz. As well as raising money through competitions and activities, they also sold their home made ‘Quantoberfest’ T-Shirts and drinks tokens for the fully subbed bar that came into the office.

In total they raised a huge £2,114 all in aid of Breast Cancer Research. Due to the huge success, this will be an annual event in which they hope to raise even more, year on year.
