Berkhamsted Community Bus Survey
Berkhamsted Town Council (BTC) is currently considering the possibility of setting up a Community Bus Service which would operate within the town and be run for community benefit. The purpose of such a service would be to help reduce the number of private car journeys which are made within Berkhamsted and provide a useful local service to citizens and visitors alike. By reducing private car journeys it is hoped that a community bus service would help to address the issues of congestion and poor air quality in the town.
In order to assess the feasibility of such a bus service and help the council work out the best way to set it up, they are seeking information about the current travel habits of those who live, work or are educated within Berkhamsted. They are also interested in whether you might consider using a community bus service in the future and if you did so, what would be important to you in making that decision.
