Berkhamsted People – Portraits of a Town

Living Magazines Berkhamsted People - Portraits of a Town

Photographer Adam Hollier has news about plans for his new book, Berkhamsted People – Portraits of a Town:

In 2018 I undertook a huge project: Tring People – Portraits of a Town. The final book is something I’m very proud of and includes well over 400 faces, some lovely stories and memories, and various local landmarks.

I’m now turning my attention to Berkhamsted! To find out more about the latest book plans, please see here.

Despite Storm Ciara and Storm Dennis forcing me to cancel our first two shoots, I am determined to get on with portrait photo sessions as soon as possible!

I would love you, your business, your colleagues, friends and family to all feature in the pages of the finished book. It’s completely free to take part (and there is no obligation to buy a book, although those included will receive a discount if they do buy one!).

Here are the shoot dates we have currently planned:

  • The Kings Arms: Sunday 23 February, 10am-12 noon
  • Berkhamsted Lawn Tennis & Squash Rackets Club: Sunday 8 March: 2-5pm
  • Waterstones Book Store: Friday 13 March, 10am-1pm
  • Northchurch Parish Rooms: Tuesday 14 April, 9-11am
  • Berkhamsted Beer Festival: Saturday 25 April
  • Berkofest Book Festival: Sunday 10 May, 10am-12 noon

As an extra-special feature, due to 2020 being a Leap Year, we are particularly interested in including people who celebrate their birthday on 29 February… if you know any ‘Leap Year Babies’ please ensure they know about the Berkhamsted People book!

We hope to see you at a shoot soon! Please join our Facebook page for the most up-to-date information and news.

Feel free to share the above details with contacts or colleagues that might also be interested in what I am doing.

All the best,
Adam
