Read all about it! Back for its third year, BerkoFest Book Festival is coming to Berkhamsted on Sunday 20 November 2022; don’t miss out!

The Book Festival will be held at the central High Street location of Berkhamsted Town Hall.

Organisers are thrilled to announce the following Sunday Times top ten selling authors: Natalie Haynes, Jenny Éclair, Stuart Turton and Milly Johnson. They will be appearing alongside poetic, theatrical, memoir and comedic writers, plus a world-renowned musician.

Award-winning comedian Nigel Planer will be sharing a session with fellow award-winning comedian Robin Ince and Robin will have his own individual session promoting his latest book Biblomaniac: An obsessive’s tour of bookshops of Britain. From the world of science and ecology, earth physicist Helen Czerski, discusses climate mass migration with eco- journalist Gaia Vince.

Henry Normal is one of the genius creators behind iconic British TV shows Gavin and Stacey, Alan Partridge, Nighty Night, Mrs Merton, The Mighty Boosh and many more you know and love. He’s also a poet! Comedic and literary treat for attendees.

An intriguing conversation between multi-instrumentalist and lead singer and second guitarist of the legendary Prog rock band King Crimson, Jakko Jakszyk, and esteemed theatre director Michael Attenborough (son of Richard and nephew of David).

Top selling Rom-Com authors Cathy Bramley and Isabelle Broom will discuss ‘Escapism in Today’s World’.

Berkhamsted Author Clare Swatman will lead an always popular session, discussing the publishing journey, including her experience of both self-publishing, and the more traditional route of finding a publisher. The panel will welcome your questions.
