Book highlights neurodiversity
Berkhamsted neurodiversity coach Liv Blaney is preparing to make an impact in the business sector with the release of her new book, Neuroinclusion: A Guide for Managers and Leaders.
Co-authored with another expert, Sam Pringle, the book offers practical guidance for managers seeking to create more inclusive workplaces for the 15-20% of the population that is neurodivergent – with conditions including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and dyspraxia.
Liv started researching neurodiversity after a colleague made a comment about the potential reasons why a coworker switched off the camera in a video call. That ultimately led her to publish research around autistic communication approaches, and several other studies.
She now works as a neurodiversity coach and trainer, helping individuals and organisations to get the best out of neurodivergent talent.
‘Many managers, leaders and organisations want to support neurodivergent talent but don’t know where to start,’ said Liv. ‘This book provides managers with the tools and understanding they need to unlock the potential of all their team members.’
The book is being published by Routledge on 16 March to coincide with Neurodiversity Celebration Week (16-20 March).
