Book of Condolence at County Hall and Hertfordshire Libraries

Books of Condolence have been opened at County Hall in Hertford and at Hertfordshire County Council’s libraries for people who wish to pay their respects to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

There is also an online Book of Remembrance for Hertfordshire at lord-lieutenant-herts.org.uk/remembrance

From Monday, Books of Condolence will be at all 46 of Hertfordshire’s branch libraries during their normal opening hours. Details of the locations and opening times can be found at www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/libraries

The completed books will be stored in the Hertfordshire Archives.

As a mark of respect, flags have been lowered to half-mast at all county council buildings.

Floral tributes can be left in a dedicated area underneath the arches at County Hall in Hertford.

Books of Condolence are now open at The Forum, Hemel Hempstead, Berkhamsted Town Council Civic Building and Tring Town Council Civic Building. The Books of Condolence will be open Monday to Friday from 9am until 5pm until Monday 19 September.
