Is your business involved in the tourist industry?

Each year, VisitEngland invites all English visitor attractions to take part in their annual survey, the Business Barometer, recording visitor numbers alongside key information including entrance fees and visitor profiles. The survey is an official statistic and generates considerable media interest, both local and national, when published.

Performance in the tourism sector can change as quickly as the weather, so results from the survey are incredibly useful in keeping the industry up to date with the latest trends. The monthly business barometer provides feedback from tourism businesses and generates a simple ‘snapshot’ of our county’s tourism industry performance. The results also feed into the Economic Impact Cambridge Model research.
