Business Park Celebrates 30th Birthday

Living Magazines Breakspear Park 30th Anniversary

Breakspear Park, the home of many thriving businesses in Hemel Hempstead, has been partying like it’s 1988 to celebrate its 30th anniversary.

Celebrations were held over three days to ensure that the maximum number of employees could participate in the fun.

To kick-start the trio of treat days Breakspear Park padlocked up a cash prize of £300. Employees were invited to pick one of 500 keys to try to open the box to win.

The second day saw thirty people receiving gift vouchers as a random act of kindness.

Then the grand finale came on the third day when 80s-inspired entertainment ran in the restaurant and a four-foot-high birthday cake was available for all staff to have a slice. The honour of cutting the cake went to Julie Rogers and Daniel Saville who have both worked at Breakspear Park for more than 20 years.

Dina Mistry, Marketing Manager of Breakspear Park, commented: ‘We have had a tremendous response to our anniversary celebrations this week and the activities were planned to entertain as many people here as possible.

The enormous cake we had commissioned was a real show stopper, however, deciding how to place the initial cut really did have us scratching our heads. Fortunately, once the first slice was available the rest of the cake went very quickly! Well, it wouldn’t have been a real party without a cake would it?’
