Carnival Time
It’s summer – so it must be time for the annual Tring Summer Carnival!
Spread over several days, it all kicks off with ‘The Greatest Showman Sing-a-Long on Thursday 27 June. Get your voices limbered up and come along to this fun evening of entertainment in the Tring Brewery Marquee with your local pop-up cinema. Tickets are £12 in advance or £15 on the door. Marquee will open at 7pm with the film starting at 8:45pm. Hot food will be available. Tickets £12 from Beechwood Fine Foods or www.tringcinema.com.
Then on 28 June you can meet Rennie Grove Staff and volunteers, chat over complimentary drinks, courtesy of Tring Brewery, about upcoming events and volunteer opportunities. Later the Rennie Grove Tring Carnival Band will put on a night of music, dancing and beer, all for a good cause. The line up includes Dr Tom, Imogen Hudson and Elastic Cats. Tickets are £10 in advance from Beechwood Fine Foods or Tring Brewery. £12.50 on the door. Doors open at 7pm with music from 8pm. Come try the Tring Brewery Beer Festival also with cash only bar.
Saturday 29 June is the high street parade, from 11.30am until 5pm. Including local dance and theatre groups. This year we are celebrating 50 years since the first Moon landing. The parade will make its way to Pound Meadow where there will be stalls, food and drink plus the Tring Brewery Marquee. Enjoy the ‘Comedy Danger Show’ featuring a Chinese Pole and a chair, live music, dog shows, dancing and fairground rides for just £2 per person, with under fives free.
You can also pop along to the Tring Tornadoes Family Day – an opportunity to find out more about your local football club and sign up for the 2019/20 season. It will also include the Club’s prize giving and award ceremony plus a charity football match – dust off those boots! Later there’s an evening of energetic music from the Pepper Show Band and the Dung Beetles in Pound Meadow. Tickets available from Tring Brewery and Beechwood Fine Foods.
