Celebrate Christmas 2020 in Tring

Living Magazines Tring Together Christmas

Tring Together, local charity, organiser of major town events and dedicated supporter of local businesses and residents, is determined to bring a Christmas celebration to Tring this December.

The annual Christmas Festival, which usually has more than 100 festive stalls and more than 10,000 visitors flowing along the High Street, cannot go ahead but the group is working on a new, safe concept that will support local shops and businesses and bring the spirit of Christmas to Tring.

Tring Together’s Christmas Weekend will take place on 12 & 13 December, 3pm-7pm. Come join the residents of Tring and support local businesses in what has been a tough year. The aim is for people to shop, visit concerts in the churches, wander through stalls and the Memorial Garden and then go onto restaurants to eat – all promoting local. A cosy Christmas market feel with Father Christmas, an illuminated Memorial Garden and all-round Festive fun in a Covid safe environment.

The intention is for all the community to be a part of it whether shopping, selling, dining, viewing or volunteering. The plan is to have a range of activities and events both live and online to support everyone including people who cannot come out / or do not want to come out.

The artistic among you can enter the Decorate your Christmas tree competition which will be displayed in Tring Memorial Garden and on which the public will be able to vote.

There will be a FREE online and printed brochure. To keep up to date with what is happening you can follow Tring Together on Facebook or visit www.tringtogether.org.uk.
