The white-striped warrior will be bringing his Ant Music to fans at the Tring festival, celebrating Adam and the Ants’ mega back catalogue which saw the band achieve 10 UK Top Ten hits from 1980 to 1983.
With much-loved classics including Goody Two Shoes, Prince Charming and Ant Music, the dandy highwayman will be finally making his debut appearance, after his first billing in 2020 was scuppered by the Covid pandemic.
Another highlight of the 2025 bill is 80s female legend Kim Wilde, the most charted British female solo act of the 80s, with 17 UK top 40 singles, such as Kids in America, You Keep me Hanging on, You Came and Chequered Love.
New Order and Joy Division legend Peter Hook, of Peter Hook & The Light, will be taking the crowd on a nostalgic trip back to the club scene with pumping hits such as Blue Monday (the biggest selling 12-inch single of all time), True Faith, World in Motion and Love will Tear us Apart.
Continuing the 80s vibe will be Nick Heyward and his band of merry men, Haircut 100, who reformed last year. Ever-youthful Nick and the band will be treating the audience to a Fantastic Day with hits such as Love Plus One, Nobody’s Fool and Boy Meets Girl.
Another upbeat band to take to the stage is Buster Blood vessel’s Bad Manners whose Two Tone and ska spectacular will get the crowd up on their feet and skanking. It’s sure to be a real party vibe with hits such as Special Brew, Lip up Fatty, My Girl Lollipop and incredible covers such as Can’t Take my Eyes off You.
Continuing the party anthems will be soul sensations, The Real Thing, featuring brother-act, Chris and Dave Amoo, with hits such as Can You Feel the Force, their No 1 hit You to Me are Everything and Can’t Get By Without You, they will no doubt spark some disco moves in the crowd. Clocking up 13 UK Top 40 singles, The Real Thing were the most successful black rock/soul act in England during the 1970s.
Bringing the music vibe smack-bang into the noughties and beyond will be pop/rock band The Hoosiers, who will be belting out a string of popular hits such as Worried about Ray, Goodbye Mr A and Choices.
Spinning the decks and providing the crowd with a non-stop party will be celebrated British club DJ, producer and re-mixer, Brandon Block.
