Chiltern Safaris Launches the Chiltern’s First Wine Tours
Chiltern Safaris has announced the launch of the Blue Line Wine Tours, with the first tour set to take place on 9 May 2026. These tours will offer specially curated access to boutique vineyards located within the beautiful countryside of the northern Chilterns.
The tours present the opportunity for a unique day out for wine enthusiasts to explore the countryside, meet the vineyard owners, hear their individual stories and taste their superb wines.
Keith Hodgskiss, the founder of Chiltern Safaris, is on a mission to showcase wines produced within the Chilterns to a wider audience. The Blue Line Wine Tours, along with the Henley Wine Tours, allow exclusive and hassle-free access to visitors from neighbouring regions, including London, with pick-up being from Amersham and a 40-minute train journey from Marylebone Station on Chiltern Railways.
‘Establishing the Blue Line Wine Tours is a big step for Chiltern Safaris and a natural progression for the burgeoning Chiltern wine industry, which I think is a ‘dark horse’ within the English and global wine world,’ says Keith. ‘I’m extremely fortunate to be in the position to be able to showcase these vineyards to the public at a point where each vineyard has matured to develop their distinct, signature tastes and are just now beginning to be noticed by industry experts and the wider community.’
The Blue Line Tours partner with 3 vineyards, with itineraries including vineyard tours, discussion with the vineyard owners, transport, a two-course lunch and tasting of wines.
