Christmas Tree Collection Service

It’s back for its 15th year!

What do you do with your Christmas tree after the festivities have finished? If you have a real tree, local Scout Groups in Berkhamsted and Northchurch are again offering a collection service on Sunday 8 January 2023 for all Berkhamsted and Northchurch residents who want to recycle their real Christmas tree.

In the time it has been running, the Group has collected over 11,000 trees, and raised £ thousands to fund scouting activities and equipment for local children aged 6-18.

For a suggested voluntary contribution of £4 per tree, they will pick up your tree on Sunday 8 January 2023 and take it to the Dacorum Council shredder for composting.

All funds raised will go to local Scout charities.

Book and pay for your tree collection at www.1stberkhamsted.org.uk/trees by midnight on 7 January or visit the Scouts Christmas tree market stall in Berkhamsted, 9am-3pm, 7 January.
