Christmas Tree Recycling 2021
The annual real Christmas Tree recycling day for this area will take place on Sunday 10 January 2021. There are numerous options and locations for you as follows.
Drop-off locations and times
- Cupid Green Depot, Redbourn Road, Hemel Hempstead HP2 7BA – 8.30am to 3pm
- Canal Fields, Broadwater, Berkhamsted HP4 2AL – 8.30am to 3pm
- Tring Garden Centre, Bulbourne Road, Tring HP23 5HF – 10.30am to 4.30pm
Scout group collection
If you live in Berkhamsted (and the surrounding villages) or Tring, 1st Berkhamsted Scouts, 1st Gossoms End Scouts, 1st Northchurch Scouts, 1st Potten End Scouts and 1st Tring Scout groups are offering to collect trees from your home for a donation to the scout groups. Please email the scout groups directly for more information:

- Tring or Aldbury – email tringscoutsxmastrees@gmail.com
Additionally, the Hospice of St Francis offer collection of your trees, but sadly not in either Tring or Berkhamsted. Details here.
Alternatively, you can take your (real) tree to a Recycling Centre or cut it up and put it in the green bin ready for when garden waste collections begin again in the spring.
