Be introduced to the profound power of the Women’s Drum Circle. Angie first brought this experience to Tring years ago when she raised money for various charitable causes. Angie is a highly experienced senior therapist and renowned facilitator, and over the decades was drawn to working with the drum because it’s so accessible and effective.
She explains: ‘Drumming has been used in a healing context in indigenous cultures for thousands of years. Today, thanks to the resurgence in interest about our connection with the land, and scientific research, we are returning to see how incredible it really is.’
Drumming is now known and scientifically proven to reset the nervous system. This means that you access a level of healing and calm, but are restored and energised as it works closely with the vagus nerve for a complete, very deep, gentle, and highly effective slowing down.
The Women’s Drum Circle is an immersive circle and group experience where you get to drum and go deep into the restorative effects of the drum. You will experience an oracle card pull, a sharing, a ritual, drumming, movement and song, ending with a deeply nourishing Drum Sound Bath at the end. It is immensely restorative and empowering but also a lot of fun, a chance to find your voice and really let your hair down.
