Copper House and Purple Menswear Peaky Blinders Event

Living Magazines Copper House bar and restaurant

Copper House, the independent bar and restaurant set up by local entrepreneurs in their home town of Berkhamsted, is partnering with Purple Menswear to host a ‘Peaky Blinders’ themed event on Thursday 5 March from 7pm. The evening will also include a fashion show by Purple Menswear and games by Freedom Brewery.

How appropriate that as we get used to write 2020, Berkhamsted’s innovative Bar and Restaurant Copper House goes back 100 years to pay homage to the roaring 1920’s with an evening of themed food & fashion, all with a nod to the successful TV series Peaky Blinders.

Start the evening with a welcome Old Fashioned cocktail, then enjoy a 3-course meal, delightfully created by the team to align to the period but with a lovely modern twist. The collaboration with Purple Menswear, showcasing their latest range, together with today’s current Peaky Blinders trend, can only add to the evening’s enjoyment.

The menu for the evening includes:

  • Shellfish Broth
Mussels, clams, salmon & crispy onions
  • Steak & Kidney Suet Pie
6-hour braised Scotch beef, suet pastry & braising liquor served with creamed potatoes
  • Sticky Toffee Bread & Butter Pudding
With sultanas, vanilla and a toffee custard
