Coronavirus update from Beechwoods

Living Magazines Beeckwood Fine Foods

Thanks to Beechwood Fine Foods in Tring for this update on their services in the midst of the Coronavirus outbreak:

Up until now we have not felt the need to add to the stream of official and speculative information coming through your inbox surrounding the Coronavirus outbreak. However, with so many of you now asking questions about what the future holds for us and what we are planning, we wanted to inform you – so far as we can at this time – of our intentions and to reassure you, our valued customers, that the service we provide and the health of our customers is our highest priority.

In line with current Government guidance we will continue to be open for business during our usual trading hours, which can be found on our website until such time as this advice changes.

We are seeking to maintain an ‘open door’ policy, to minimise contact points on entry and exit to the shop and to keep a steady flow of ventilation; on some days this may make sitting in less comfortable but we hope you will understand.

We are working closely with all our suppliers; we will continue to have daily deliveries of bread, as well as regular deliveries of eggs, cheeses, fruit and vegetables and all our other products. If there are any items that you would like to pre-order, especially daily bread, this would help us enormously to ensure we have sufficient stock for your requirements (obviously subject to availability from our suppliers).

For those who are unable to get to us, we are offering a delivery service in and around Tring, please call us to discuss on tel: 01442 828812 or send us an email to hello@beechwoodfinefoods.com.

The Court Theatre is closed until future notice, there will be no ticket sales; please refer to their own website for further information https://www.courttheatre.co.uk/

The various Spring fetes we attend have all been cancelled or postponed; when circumstances change we will keep you updated through the events page on our website.

For the time being we will also continue to be serving teas, coffees, cakes, light lunches etc either to eat in or to take away until Government guidance requires otherwise. We are donating 20p of all cakes sold to Rennie Grove for the remainder of the month, so any help for us is help for them too.

With our very best wishes, keep well.

Toby and Sarah
