CPRE Hertfordshire Awards 2019
The Annual CPRE (Campaign to Protect Rural England) Hertfordshire Awards Scheme is now open and everyone within Hertfordshire is invited to think about the people or groups who help improve life in their community and/or enhance the environment in Hertfordshire and nominate them for an award.
Gill Bryant told us: ‘We want to recognise those who work so hard to protect, promote and enhance towns or villages and/or the surrounding countryside to make them better places to live, work, go to school or enjoy for today and tomorrow. For example: charities, informal groups, events, businesses and individuals of all ages.’
Cllr Jeff Jones said: ‘It is great to see individuals and groups receiving recognition for their work and contribution to the community.’
There is a lot happening across Hertfordshire so please nominate, or spread the word by telling others about the awards. You can nominate yourself or others.
To make a nomination, just download a form from the website www.cpreherts.org.uk/awards.
Closing date: 31 May 2019
Judges will review the nominations during the summer and the Awards are presented at an evening event in October.
