The event is the initiative of Age UK Dacorum’s Sue Beardshaw, who said: ‘The aim is to help people understand more about dementia and stroke and what can be done to support and empower patients and families affected by these conditions. By holding an event and inviting people to hear from experts, it is hoped it will create improved understanding of these life changing conditions and showcase the invaluable role that Age UK Dacorum can play for those patients and families who are affected.’
