Developments at Tring Station

Living Magazines Tring Station

Rail users and lineside neighbours are invited to attend an information event on Wednesday 27 February from 6-7.30pm at Pendley Manor Hotel, Cow Lane, Tring, where Network Rail and West Midlands Trains will explain their plans for accessibility improvement works at Tring station.

The work involves the installation of three new lifts, two ramps and a new footbridge span. This step-free access will help wheelchair users, and people with prams or heavy baggage, to access the station more easily. No disruption to services is anticipated while the improvements are carried out.

The £4.5m upgrade will start on 4th March and is due to be completed in Autumn 2019. It is being funded by the Department of Transport as part of their ‘Access for All‘ programme.

If you’re unable to attend, you can visit www.networkrail.co.uk or call 03457 11 41 41 for further information.
