To 17 May. Three-week period dedicated to welcoming spring in Tring, supporting local community groups and charities as well as highlighting the beauty of the surrounding countryside and promoting related activities.
Northchurch Social Centre, 9.30am-12.30pm. First Saturday of the month. A volunteer-run service offering you the chance to bring your broken items to be repaired in exchange for a donation to local charities – reducing waste and saving money.
Victoria Room, Victoria Hall, Akeman Street, 10am-3pm. A place for locals to showcase their talents. Handmade crafts, accessories, homeware, art, jewellery, candles, sweet treats and more.
Berkhamsted Town Hall, 10am-4pm. Dogs welcome. Fab indoor market home to independent market stall small businesses plus onsite cafe. Email if you would like a stall.
Waddesdon Manor, 4-7.30am. Listen to the magical sounds of early morning bird song and explore the grounds whilst the rest of the world is asleep. Following the walk, enjoy coffee.
Chiltern Open Air Museum, 10am-5pm. Also 4 May. Enjoy live gladiatorial combat displays, meet the fighters, explore Roman military life and discover hands-on history in a unique open-air setting.
All Saints Church, Berkhamsted, 2.30pm. William Fox, director of music at St Albans Cathedral, gives the first of the 2026 Sarah Garrett Organ Recital Series concerts. Refreshments provided in the interval.
Berkhamsted Town Hall, 4pm. Behind the Mirror presents music by Frederick Delius, Ralph Vaughan Williams, William Walton, Henry Purcell amongst others, given a new life through the sound world of cello and harp.
