Family Fun Toy Crafts at Bucks County Museum this February Half Term

This February half term pop along to Bucks County Museum and enjoy some great toy crafts inspired by their brilliant Toy Exhibition. Each day from Monday 17 February to Saturday 22 February 2020 there will be a fun family friendly activity for all to enjoy. Have a go at creating your own brick car, digger or space craft and design your own road mat for it to go on. Design a t-shirt for a teddy or make a toy doll version of yourself. Always wanted to paint your own unique jigsaw puzzle? Now is your chance. As part of your Roald Dahl Children’s Gallery entrance price on Friday 21 February, you will also have the chance to create your own optical illusion.

Plus, the lovely people from Asmodee Games, the makers of brilliant games such as Dobble, Cobrapaw and Rory’s Story Cubes will be giving demos throughout the day on Wednesday 19 February and Saturday 22 February, 11am – 4pm.

Craft activities cost £4.50 per participant and are suitable for children 3 years and over. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Craft activities run from 10am to 3pm and are drop in so no need to book. Just come along.

Construction Vehicle Brick Kits: Monday 17 February, 10am-3pm
Build your brick car, digger or space kit and draw a road mat for it to drive around on.
£4.50 per participant.

Teddy Bears: Tuesday 18 February, 10am-3pm
Design a t-shirt for your very own cuddly teddy bear. £4.50 per participant.

Jigsaw Puzzles: Wednesday 19 February, 10am-3pm
Draw or paint a design on to a wooden jigsaw or a puzzle cube. £4.50 per participant.

Plus have fun trying out games made by Asmodee, makers of Dobble, Cobrapaw and Rory’s Story Cubes with Asmodee’s demo team in the Toy Box exhibition, 11am-4pm.

Cloth Dolls: Thursday 20 February, 10am-3pm
Can you make a toy version of yourself or someone you know? £4.50 per participant.

Optical Illusion Toys: Friday 21 February, 10am-3pm
Make your own optical illusion toy to take away with you (free with Roald Dahl Children’s Gallery entrance price).

Games Demo Day: Saturday 22 February, 11am-4pm
Have fun trying out games made by Asmodee Games, makers of Dobble, Cobrapaw and Rory’s Story Cubes with Asmodee’s demo team. Entry by donation.

Toy Box Exhibition on now until 18 April 2020
This family favourite is great fun for children of all ages with lots of hands-on toys and games to play with and toys that will bring back memories of childhood for parents, too. It’s the perfect place to bring family and friends during February half term.
