Fete Fun in Cheshunt
To highlight Dementia Action Week, Hertswise are hosting a free fete in Cheshunt for people living with dementia and their carers.
The event at The Cheshunt Club, will be a chance for people living with dementia and their carers to have a fun-fuelled day of entertainment and refreshments.
Inspired by villages fetes there will be a tombola, hook a duck, tin can alley, a ring toss and an amazing singer to entertain throughout.
Many stalls will be present at the event such as Age UK Hertfordshire, who will be speaking about the services they provide for older people in Hertfordshire.
With over 850,000 people in the UK living with dementia and an estimated 15,000 in Hertfordshire alone, this event will give people with dementia and their carers with a day of enjoyment whilst also providing the local community with knowledge about dementia.
The fete will be free entry for Hertswise members and their carers, along with the public.
The event will be at The Cheshunt Club, from 1pm-4pm on 23 May.
