Free crafts course in Hemel Hempstead

If you’re interested in crafts and would like to learn how to make money from them, then take a look at a new course run by Community Action Dacorum.

The ‘My Handscraft’ course is aimed at newcomers to the UK, and is designed to give participants the chance to try their hand at a variety of different crafts such as calligraphy, jewellery making, card making, macramé, block printing and more.

In addition, there is a focus on learning how to market and sell your crafts, as well as practising speaking English language, networking and making friends.

The course will take place at St Mary’s Church Hall, Old Town, Hemel Hempstead HP1 3AE every Wednesday from 10am-4pm starting on 4 March. It is completely free of charge and materials are provided. For more information get in touch with Simona@communityactiondacorum.org.uk.
