Getting Your Exam Results This Summer?

Exam results

Young people waiting to receive their A-level, T-level or GCSE results this August are being reminded that they can get support from Hertfordshire County Council Services for Young People as they decide on their next steps.

Whether results are better or worse than expected, HCC Services for Young People (SfYP) can offer the latest information and impartial advice to help young people with their important choices.

They can help young people rethink their plans or explore new options if needed.

One-to-one personalised advice is available from SfYP in schools and at the county council’s 11-5 Hubs at young people’s centres across Hertfordshire.

Young people can contact their SfYP local team to make an appointment or just drop in during the opening hours. Phone or video-call appointments are also available. For more information and opening times, please visit the SfYP website at Services for Young People.

Councillor Mark Watkin, Executive Member for Education, SEND and Inclusion, Hertfordshire County Council said:I would like to wish all of Hertfordshire’s students awaiting exam results the very best of luck. Getting your results marks the start of a new chapter in your life.  HCC Services for Young People have the expertise to guide you through all the options available to you. Whatever next step you decide, on behalf of Hertfordshire County Council, I wish you all the best for the future.’

Young people can also register for jobs, apprenticeships or traineeships to get job alerts via text or email. They will receive job details, including how to apply, and be offered further support.

SfYP’s 11-5 Hubs will also be open during the school holidays as usual for information, advice and support on a wide range of subjects. Find full details and opening hours on the SfYP website: Information, advice and support at SfYP 11-5 Hubs.
