Go Yellow for DENS and Join the Celebrations

DENS is calling for everyone in Dacorum to Go Yellow and come together for a special week of celebrations from Monday 20 to Sunday 26 June.

This fun community campaign is for anyone, with many local businesses, schools, community groups and families already pledging to take part.

Turn your school yellow with a special non-uniform day, transform your office with yellow decorations or sell tasty yellow cakes at your café. The possibilities are endless!

Anyone taking part is asked to donate £1 to DENS, which will count towards helping rebuild the lives of local people facing homelessness, poverty and social exclusion.

Supporters are also urged to collect and donate items from the Foodbank’s high needs list, with stocks running low as the service faces a surge of unprecedented demand: www.dens.org.uk/high-needs-list. 

Staff from the charity will be raising awareness during the week at Hemel Hempstead’s popular shopping centre, The Marlowes, which has chosen DENS as its charity of the year for a second year running.

Charlotte McCarthy, Relationship & Community Fundraiser at DENS, said: ‘The response we’ve had so far for the return of Go Yellow has been brilliant. We can’t wait to see all the creative ways our supporters around the community will be celebrating.’
