Prepare your taste buds and loosen your jeans for the annual Great Missenden Food Festival and 2020 is set to be the biggest and best Festival yet!
Each day will be packed with exciting events and a host of new activities for the whole family. Why not get hands on with a cookery class or learn the secrets to great BBQ cooking in the Food and Fire BBQ Zone. Kids of all ages can get their fingers sticky making breakfast pastries and cake pops in the cookery school or find their inner mad scientist, creating potions in the food laboratory. All included in the cost of your ticket.
The Market Place
Featuring up to 180 exhibitors selling and sampling some the best of artisan local, regional and internationally acclaimed produce, as well as a small craft and gift area for those gifts you can’t find on the high street. You will find a tantalising selection including delicious cheeses, sweet treats, local produce, international cuisine and artisan street food.

Celebrity Chef Rosemary Shrager will be joining us on the Saturday. You can book a free space to join Rosemary for wine tasting and canape sessions.

Broil King Cook-A-long BBQ Experience
With six sessions each day you get expert tuition in how to make the most from your BBQ. Using the latest Broil King BBQ technology, the classes are designed to take the most inexperienced beginner to the expert griller and offer them some great tips and advice on how to create your perfect gourmet feast. It’s free and great fun.
The Cook School
Get hands on cookery tuition with our expert chefs. Free to have a go!
The Chef’s Table
This theatre features an intimate experience where you can sample a restaurant style tasting dish created by expert chefs while sat at one the chef’s tables. Chat to the chef while they cook, ask them questions and even cook along – all free of charge!
Cheese Master Classes
New for 2020 – Cheese Master Classes. Learn how to create the perfect cheese board, discover local and regional cheeses and taste delicious cheese based dishes. All included in the price of your ticket!
Free Children’s Activities
Enjoy a family day out at the Food Festival with plenty of fun for children of all ages. Visit the Make n Take area or drop in at story time corner.
Children’s Cookery School
This free-of-charge attraction takes a grass roots approach, allowing children of all ages the chance to turn basic ingredients into tasty treats. Sessions include making breakfast pastries and cake pops. Once the aprons are put on the fun begins!
Kids Food Laboratory
Children of all ages get the chance to unleash their inner mad scientist, as they experiment with food with some spectacular results! Experiments include inflatable hands and potions.

The Food Festival showground is located off the roundabout at Great Missenden, on the A413 between Amersham and Wendover. The postcode is HP16 9AE. On arrival in Great Missenden, follow the yellow food festival directional signs.
