Have Your Say on Renewal of Hemel Hempstead Town Centre PSPO

Dacorum Borough Council is reviewing the current Public Spaces Protection Order (Hemel Hempstead) 2019, which prohibits spitting, urinating, defecating, cycling and skateboarding in Hemel Hempstead town centre.

PSPOs are aimed at ensuring public spaces can be enjoyed free from anti-social behaviour. They are not about stopping the responsible use of public spaces – but they do provide the Council with a tool to tackle persistent issues that are damaging our communities.

As part of the review the Council is asking for feedback from residents and other stakeholders on the effect the PSPO has had in Hemel Hempstead town centre and if you would like to see any changes made to it.

Dacorum Borough Council continues to work with its partners to develop safe and healthy communities, where everyone feels secure, free from the fear of crime and anti-social behaviour.
