Living Magazines Koha Skin Clinic

Koha Skin Clinic, a Berkhamsted-based skin and aesthetics clinic, has been announced as New Practice of the Year for the UK in the international My Face, My Body Awards. Fortunata Oleszkiewicz, the clinic’s manager, has also be awarded as UK Practice Manager of the Year.

The annual awards praise the efforts of the aesthetic industry across the globe, recognising those who provide outstanding results, create the best customer experiences and are driving innovation with the sector.

Koha Skin Clinics, which opened its doors 1st June 2019, was assessed across multiple factors, including the planning and preparation that was put into the clinic’s launch, and its achievements since opening.

With a 5-star rating, alongside an abundance of positive client feedback, the clinic has achieved plenty of success in their first year, welcoming nearly 500 new clients through their doors. The clinic has also continued to strive forwards, despite facing the most significant obstacle businesses have faced this year: COVID-19.

Providing a range of laser treatments, chemical peels, HydraFacials, anti-ageing injectables and IV therapy, Koha has created a tranquil sanctuary where individuals can treat their skin concerns, boost their wellbeing and, most importantly, raise their confidence.

Commended on taking a different approach to aesthetics, Koha Skin Clinic blends state of the art, modern treatments with a natural and tranquil atmosphere that is not only welcoming but comforting for many clients.

Koha’s Clinic Manager, Fortunata Oleszkiewicz, has also been praised for her incredible work and drive to create the best experiences for clients. With a background that spans many years, Fortunata has learnt from the very best, working closely with some of the industry’s leading minds.

She has been awarded Practice Manager of the Year due to her innovative vision, outstanding work ethic and for the support she has provided to her team, both with their development and wellbeing, particularly throughout the pandemic.

From the beginning of 2019, Fortunata has dedicated herself to the practice, spearheading its vision, researching and identifying the best treatments and training staff. Since then, she has continued to improve the client experience while curating development opportunities to support her team, all while delivering exceptional results for her clients.

Haylee Benton, founder of Koha Skin Clinic, commented: ‘The whole team is over the moon with the news. We’ve all worked so incredibly hard to get this off the ground, so to have our client experience, high standards and results recognised on an international stage have been exceptional.

‘We’re also so proud of our Clinic Manager, Fortunata. She has been instrumental in Koha’s journey, and she’s worked incredibly hard to create such a special clinic.’

Fortunata Oleszkiewicz, Clinic Manager, also added: ‘I’m so grateful to have been recognised in such a well-respected ceremony. It’s been an incredible journey, and I’m thrilled to have been able to share it with my team. After such a difficult year, this really has made all of our hard work that much more worthwhile.’

The news of the award wins come just as Koha Skin Clinic has been announced as a finalist for Best New Clinic in the Aesthetic Awards.
