Hertfordshire Business Park Hosts First Volunteer Fair

Living Magazines Breakspear volunteer fair

Breakspear Park in Hemel Hempstead has held its first volunteer fair to help raise awareness of local good causes among the business park’s 1,000+ members of staff.

The event was a great opportunity for charities to showcase the outstanding work they do, and potentially recruit more volunteers and raise money.

Representatives from Hope for Children, Druglink Ltd, Willow Foundation, Keech Hospice Care, Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust and CLIC Sargent were all present at the one-day event.

Dina Mistry, Marketing Manager for Breakspear Park, said: ‘We like to host events that our staff can attend within work time. Three of the companies housed here offer staff volunteering days so it was a great opportunity for them – and all other employees – to discover new charitable activities they can get involved in.

‘The charities had people sign up on the day for a variety of activities and events, and we look forward to reporting on how they have been working together in the near future.’
