Hertfordshire is now in Tier 4

Living Magazines Hertfordshire Tier 4

As most of you will by now know, the Government made the decision at the weekend to put Hertfordshire into Tier 4 restrictions. Nearby areas also in Tier 4 include:

  • London
  • Buckinghamshire
  • Essex (excluding Tendring, Uttlesford and Colchester)
  • Central Bedfordshire, Bedford, Milton Keynes and Luton
  • Peterborough

These increased restrictions have been brought in to combat a new variant of the coronavirus which is believed to spread more quickly. In addition, the planned easing of restrictions over the period of 23 to 27 December will now no longer go ahead.

Existing support bubble arrangements for people living alone, people requiring childcare support, people requiring care, and vulnerable people can continue in Tier 4. Please check government guidance on support bubbles.
