Herts Against Hate

A new website providing information about how and where to report hate crime has been launched in Hertfordshire recently.

Hate crimes are criminal offences such as assaults, harassment or criminal damage where the victim has been targeted because of their race, religion, sexual orientation, transgender identity or disability. The website provides  information about what a hate crime is and how to access support if you have been affected by it.

The website has been written in easy-to-read language to ensure it’s widely accessible, including for people with lower literacy levels or for whom English is a second language.
