Herts Animal Charity Receives New Balls Following Wimbledon Collection

Living Magazines Dog with donated tennis balls

Hertfordshire-based charity, the National Animal Welfare Trust, has been gifted 100 new tennis balls for some extra playtime fun for the dogs in its care.

The gift came from Breakspear Park in Hemel Hempstead following a ‘loose change’ collection hosted over Wimbledon fortnight.

Dina Mistry, Marketing Manager for Breakspear Park, said: ‘As the employees at Breakspear Park were keen to celebrate Wimbledon, we decided to hold a charity collection and buy some ‘new balls’ to benefit man’s best friend.

‘We are also sponsoring a Guide Dog puppy this year so helping more four-legged friends at the National Animal Welfare Trust dovetailed perfectly. We hope the balls give a lot of fun to the dogs they care for.’
