How Can YOU Make a Difference to the Chilterns?

Living Magazines Chiltern Society Volunteers

The Chiltern Society is all about its amazing volunteers. They’re a dedicated, friendly bunch who help to ensure the Chilterns remains a beautiful place for all to enjoy. The Society currently has more than 20 volunteers vacancies, from a Heritage & Arts Group Coordinator to hands-on practical work at its nature reserves.

Volunteers play a vital role in helping to protect the Chilterns… and it’s a great opportunity to give your wellbeing a boost too. Research shows that volunteering can have a positive effect on a range of wellbeing aspects, including happiness. Getting outdoors and stuck into nature is a great way to help yourself AND your community!

The Chiltern Society has a vast range of volunteering opportunities, whether it’s looking at planning applications, clearing pathways, and so much more. There’s no need for volunteering to be a big, time-consuming commitment either – even an hour or so a week could make a huge difference. All roles can be tailored to fit your skills and availability.
