HYOC2020 Oral Histories Community Project

Living Magazines Oral Histories HYOC2020

In celebration of Herts Year of Culture (HYOC2020), Dacorum Borough Council and BEEE Creative are inviting you to be a part of Hertfordshire’s history!

They’re looking for people in Dacorum of all ages to talk to them and share their memories and stories of play. They’re working with the University of Hertfordshire’s Oral History Team to collect stories, based on the theme of ‘play’ and would love to hear what your earliest memories of play are, your favourite childhood games or what games you may have played recently? You will have the chance to chat to the Oral History Team at the University who will record your stories, which will then be shared as part of the HYOC2020 #TAG community project. The stories will also form part of the University’s Oral History Archive. It is free to take part and the project is funded by Arts Council England in partnership with BEEE Creative, Dacorum Borough, Watford and Three Rivers District Councils.
