Let There Be light!

Berkhamsted’s Festival of Light takes place on Sunday 28 November, 3.30pm to 6pm in Berkhamsted High  Street.

The festivities will start at 3.30pm when the High Street will be lined with a variety of festive fare, crafts, mulled wine and, of course, mince pies from both charity and commercial stalls.

At 5pm find out which retailer will win the coveted Berkhamsted Citizens, Best Dressed Christmas Window Display.

Entertainment includes a chance to hear from Lockers Park School Choir, Gobstoppers Theatre Arts and Swan Youth Band. The Christmas Lights will be switched on at 5.15pm with a blessing from St. Peter’s Church.

Let Father Christmas’ elves help children to write or draw a special message to Father Christmas from 3.30pm to  6pm at the Civic Centre. Entry to the Posting House is £2 per child while adults go free. Funds raised at the Posting
House will go to local charities.
