Local Charity Brings a Dash of Christmas to Aylesbury

Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity is bringing its popular Santa Dash event to Aylesbury this year, to coincide with the town’s Santa Parade on Sunday 21 November.

Santa Dashers will be able to choose between running, jogging, scooting or walking their way around a 2.5km or 5km circular route around the town to raising money for local hospice care.

Claire Redrup, Community Fundraising Manager, commented: ‘We are so pleased to be part of launch of Christmas in Aylesbury this year. This will be our first public event since March 2020 and we can’t wait to see families and friends out in their best Christmas outfits, enjoying themselves, all in a good cause.’

Every ‘Dasher’ will receive a Santa hat, medal and the chance to take part in the Santa Parade, as well as making it straight onto Santa’s ‘nice’ list for supporting a local charity.
