Living Magazines Berkhamsted CC Ride with the Pros

Berkhamsted Cycle Club are organising a charity ‘Ride with the Pros’ event alongside Hult Ashridge Executive Education. It takes place on Sunday 10 November, starting at Ashridge House.

It is a chance for locals of all cycling abilities to take part in a ride designed and led by Berkhamsted CC members – but joined by professional cyclists from the EF Education First Pro Cycling Team (a ‘World Tour’ team who ride at the highest level of cycling and compete at the Tour de France) as well as the Brother UK- Tifosi powered by OnForm team (a women’s professional cycling team that is home to Hertfordshire resident and world championship bronze medalist Anna Henderson).

Entry costs £15, all of which goes to charities Children with Cancer UK, Thames Valley Air Ambulance, Helen & Douglas House and the Prostate Peddlers.

Paul Molyneux, ride coordinator for Berkhamsted CC, said: ‘This is a true community event – it’s for all cyclists at whatever level and whether they are a member of the club or not. It’s also a chance to ride with some of the stars of the sport – albeit at a slower place than they are used to!’
