Lockers Park opens Pre-Prep

Berkhamsted and Tring Living Magazines Locklers Park pupils release balloons

A co-educational Pre-Prep school at Lockers Park opened its doors in early September, marking a new phase in the 141-year history of Lockers Park Preparatory School.

A Lockers Park old boy officiated at the opening: Jonathan Trower, now the High Sheriff of Hertfordshire, unveiled a plaque and declared: ‘I was honoured to have been invited to come and help celebrate this important event.’ Pupils, staff and guests released hundreds of biodegradable balloons in Lockers Park school colours.

Lockers Park, in Boxmoor on the outskirts of Hemel Hempstead, will continue to offer education for boys from the ages of 7 to 13. The new school, in a contemporary, purpose-designed building, will take boys and girls from Reception through to Year 2.

The school will host an Open Morning on Saturday 10 October. For more information visit www.lockerspark.herts.sch.uk.
